“Four persons including two men and two women, who were occupants of the Toyota Siena, with registration number USL 111 AE, died in the accident. The accident was as a result of speeding. The light rain showers equally contributed.”
On their way to the wedding introduction, the groom, his grandmother, uncle and the uncle’s wife who were riding in a Toyota Siena bus had a head-on collision with heavy duty truck belonging to Setraco Construciton Company.
They were on their way to Uromi, in Esan North East Local Government Area when the accident occurred around Iruekpen, in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
Head of Operation, Iruekpen Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. John Omokandugba, said the accident was caused by dangerous overtaking by the Toyota bus.
Oh dear... how will the bride cope with this sad incident?
