Female Singer Kefee Exposes Pastor Biodun of COZA

When you see a Pastor who is quick to condemn others, look closely, he has his own big mess:
Popular singer Kefee has revealed her encounter with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA in Abuja and how he rubbished her through his aide due to a scandal, but the same pastor today has not been able to clear his own messy scandal. How sad!
"His P.A. called me on the phone to say, the Pastor said the church does not want anything to do with me again, because there are top government officials attending the church." But now things have changed.
Below is Kefee's revelations about her encounter with the pastor...

Some people were not happy because you featured Timaya in Kokoroko and he’s a secular singer. How would you react to that?
Before I react to that question, let me tell you a short true story. In 2008, I was invited to perform at a church in Abuja for the second time. The publicity for the show was massive, they had distributed invitation card to guests, people were even calling to confirm if I was going to perform. In fact, I got copies of the flyers weeks before the show.

I was getting ready to go to the airport when I got a call from the pastor’s P.A, asking if I had seen a certain newspaper’s story about me. I said yes, it was a scandal. And he said they don’t want to have anything to do with me because of that scandal. Besides, he added that they have top government officials who worship in their church, and all sort. I said ok.

But the so-called senior pastor, who called me initially to plead with me to accept a certain amount because it was a new church couldn’t call me anymore, he had to send his P.A. to tell me that. He didn’t care what happened to me, if it was true what was said about me by an angry, bitter man. I felt really low not because I didn’t do the show but because they cared less what happened to me, because that would have been the end of my career.

Now, I called Timaya. We met at a studio somewhere in Festac town, and Timaya asked me about the same scandal. And he told me what I expected a man of God would’ve told me. I remember, Timaya said to me:Don’t worry, if your hands are clean, you will see God turn things around for you. God will help you, my sister.”

I say this in all sobriety, after which we recorded Kokoroko. When Kokoroko came out and Timi (Dakolo) listened to it, he said “Kefee, you dey make me like God in a different way.”

Now, you tell me, who acted like a good human? Who would have ever thought that the so-called man of God, who now has his share of scandal and is still planning a robust reply would act that weird? So, when I heard people talking about me featuring Timaya, it sounded funny. God can use anything, anybody.

  8. Mr. Olufamous, I've heard to read Kefee's account as posted by you here severally, and I do not see where she mentioned the name of the Pastor or the church. Did she mention that to you off records or your wild imagination just pounced on another opportunity to accuse thye man and his church?

  9. It is like kefee cannot stand rejection, how sad. Regardless of whatever scandal is associated with pastor Fatoyinbo of COZA, he did what was right then, by not allowing Kefee to sing in the Church he shepards because of the scandal woven around her. It is the Church of Christ we are talking about, and righteousness is the pillar there. It would have sent a wrong signal to the Church if Kefee was allowed to sing then, besides that Kefee cannot claim that she is a thorough Gospel singer, she ought to have concentrated on singing secular songs like Timaya and Tuface other that deceiving herself that she is a Gospel singer. God cannot be deceived. As for Fatoyinbo, his own judgement will surely come from God, he occupies the office of a pastor- the shepard of the Church of Christ, and JESUS who is the Head of the Church will pay him back in his own coin. 1. D.o moses the judge who knows how to remove d log from others eyes while his own is full. Read with understanding , she said not attending or performing wasn't her point but that they cared less what happened to her cos if it was up to them , that would ve been the end. Your pastor has the same scandal , did he stop preaching? If u have a bias for kefee just say it cos we know ur type. Envious wanna be. Did u call kefee to her ministry? I bet u don't have her album thats why u would talk like the coward u are about my branama queen. Kefee forward ever

    2. D.o moses shut the f up! Its ur type that makes these artists leave the church and the work of God for the world. I thank God that Kefee doesn't give a damn what u think. Dbanj, wizkid, tiwa, tuface, don jazzy etc were not muslims, they were christians but for judgemental folks like u pushed them to the world.

    6. I am alarmed by your reactions to my comment on Kefee. I am neither a member of Fatoyinbo's Church nor an enemy of Kefee. There is no right thinking pastor who would invite an artiste who has a scandal hanging on her neck to perform in his Church, that is the truth. As for Kefee, she needs to understand that, it is not until you sing the Gospel that God approves of you and your song, leading a righteous lifestyle and singing the right songs are what matters to God. Don't we have the Songs of Solomon in the Bible, and there is no secular artiste who can sing a better love song than that. God does not classify music into Secular or Gospel, that is only done by human beings. God rather categorizes music and all human artistic expressions into right or wrong. Therefore, if a so called secular artiste is singing the right songs and leading a righteous lifestyle, then he is acceptable to God. But if a so called Gospel singer is leading a sinful lifestyle, then he is condemned by God. That is the truth, take it or leave it. Period. By D.O.Moses.

    7. D o moses u should read with understanding before showing the world how ignorant u are. She didn't say she was bothered about performing but that the so called senior pastor who according to her called to plead with her didn't care to call to find out if it was true or not. We all know that her ex lied,he almost killed her with his bare hands cos he hand wondering eyes and dick. Eventhough he denied it,God has vindicated her. Men of God should be more sensitive to other people's plight. Ur pastor still stands in front of his church to preach, people did not abandon him even when they know he is GUILTY. Or did they? Moses

  10. If it is about being objective, then I think most of the commentators have veered off. Except Kefee privately revealed that it was Pastor Abiodun to Olu, there was nothing in her responses that suggested it was the pastor. It could be him, but in a situation where the supposed revelation itself fails to make specific mention of names, then I consider us all like the mob that wanted to stone the adulterer to death.
