Pope Benedict Resigns As Head Of Catholic Church


Pope Benedict XVI, head of the Roman Catholic Church, has announced that he will resign his position as head of the leading Christian body, a spokesperson confirmed on Monday.

Pope Benedict, the 265th Pope of the Catholic Church, began his papacy on April 19, 2005.

Olufamous.com gathered from multiple sources that the Pope will resign on February 28. At the time of posting, sources say the Pope is stepping aside due to health challenges.
