Notice at 8:46 in the video he was about to say "close to 300 hundred inmates" When a country treats the men that are supposed to "serve and protect" in a manner that inmates would not be created, why then should we be surprised that we have "animals" in uniform. Look at refugee camps in war torn countries across the world, most of them live better than what I have just used my eyes to see with the Nigerian Police. These past few weeks with the spot light on the police college, I have had to rethink the abysmal situation of the Nigerian Police Force and I have come to the realization that they are a direct product of a series of leadership we have had in Nigeria. Here is the budgetary provision for the police upgrades in 2009 - N700 million, 2010 - N759 million, 2011 - N291 million, 2012 - N296 million. These put together gives a total of N2.046 billion. For instance, in the budget breakdown of 2012, almost half a billion naira was budgeted for the upgrade and rehabilitation of facilities at police colleges across the country in 2012. N296.75m was budgeted for the upgrade of facilities in police training institutions. N462.3m was budgeted for the rehabilitation and repairs of police stations and barracks across the country, while N142.1m was budgeted for the establishment and deployment of integrated police management information technology systems in police formations, commands and training institutions. Our nation has been turned to a joke and a pariah amongst fellow African and world nations. I am just to pissed to continue . . .
Amebo....
