The Boys Who Tortured 2 Yoruba Girls With Pepper Water Have Been Arrested In Lagos

There is no hiding place for the wicked..! The heartless perpetrators of a bestial torture and sodomy of 2 girls and a womn in the Ejigbo area of Lagos which went viral after OluFamous.Com broke the sad story have all been arrested with the help of a traditional ruler, Oba Moruf Adisa Ojoola of Ejigbo, Lagos.

The arrest was possible as a result of immense pressure on Oba Moruf himself. He was said to have got all the men assembled at his palace around 11pm Saturday night, following a closure of the Ejigbo market.

The market was shut down, preventing the market men and women from carrying out their trading activities in the area until the perpetrators of the inhuman act were identified and brought to the palace...

The gang’s torture and sodomizing of one of the girls by thrusting of a bottle of ground pepper and sticks in her genital had resulted in her death, two months after. She was later identified as “Juliana” by her father, a palm wine tapper, who revealed that he also lost a toddler in the incidence as his wife, mother of the baby while being tortured by the gang was not allowed to attend to the baby.

His wife was however not shown in the video, as the gang allegedly kept her a separate room.

In addition to torture, the gang destroyed the palm wine tapper’s house and banished him and his family from the community, after he was made to pay N50,000 as fine to secure the release of his wife and daughters.

Last Thursday, Oba Moruf was invited by the Lagos Assembly Committee regarding the investigation into the crime. The previous day, Wednesday, the Iyaloja (Ejigbo Market women leader) visited the committee on invitation. She was accompanied by her husband, who pledged support toward the investigation.

The Babaloja, who allegedly received a fine from the palm wine tapper and also supervised his banishment, did not honor an invitation by the committee. He gave the excuse that he had injury on his leg. But sources in the market said the Babaloja may have had the injury when he scaled a fence to escape arrest by a police team that visited the market for investigation last week.

At a public hearing of the Lagos Assembly committee, the police, local government chairman, market women and other members of the Ejigbo community had denied knowledge of the crime, even as sources from the community insisted the crime happened in the public glare.

The arrested gang would be tried for the crime of murder and the illegal sum collected from Mr. Freeman, the palm wine tapper to secure the release of his wife and two daughters.
Those guys are really heartless, they just destroyed a whole family unjustly.... Really sad!

  7. I'm convinced that the unrelented piled pressure on the social media really contribute to arrest of these animals in human skin. Why on earth will the aforementioned people claim unaware of the incident that happened in an open place, the police, iyaloja, babaloja and everyone concerned were all aware but decided to turn deaf ear to the incident. But thank God they all failed in their efforts.
The heartlessness' of these people were even confirm when I read they collected #50,000 from a palm wine tapper. What a life ! What a community ! What a country ! Let the right judgment be given to these animals, if the government did not close that market the so call "iya loja", and others will not make efforts to fish out these criminals but if it were to be one of their so called vagabonds children that was treated that way they will know what to do...
These bundle of criminals should have been allowed to taste of the agonizing pains these women went through by rubbing same substance on their private parts.
Lastly, the human right organization should not relent in their efforts until appropriate judgment and verdict is passed on this case because Nigeria police force can not be trusted on matter like this, once money passes through hand now these bundle of criminals will be let off the hook.

  10. Olu, I really want to thank all those who made this arrest possible; especially Dr. Joe Okey Odumakin and the media houses that followed this incidence since the story came to public domain to this point for being the voice of the voiceless. I am really greatful to you for accepting to post the video. I don't know anyone that is connected with this incidence but I am happy I could do this when I saw the video and I have discharged my duty as a Nigeria. Let me say again that the time to keep quiet is not now. We should all rise up to condemn evil and fight for ourselves if the people in authority refuse to fight for us. We can all make Nigeria a better place...

  11. I hope they will try those and punish them for the evil they have done. Also, they government should come to the rescue of people living in Ejigbo, because the OBA and his people have made the place unhabitable for people to leave and do business too.
Please Governor Fashola, come and do the road from inyana ejigbo to cele-egbe, how can a governor give out such a project to a local contractor to handle?

  12. It beats my imagination how matured men could carry out such usless and inhuman treatement on the poor women meanwhile they are bussy taking away people's wives. If you investigate more, you will find out that the so called Oba had collected wives of many Ejigbo men. I cannot understand their reasons and the games being played by the Oba and his men. Please the so called Oba or Chief of Ejigbo, Iyaloja and Babaloja should joined the devils to face the law. Can you imagine, please who collected the N50,000 from the poor wine tiper? Was the so called Chief or Oba of Ejigbo not aware,? How come that is claiming innocent? Let the Civil Society, Federal and State Ministry of Women Affairs RISE UP AND FIGHT THIS INJUSTICE. Finally, Nigeria Ploce should at least redeem the image of Police force by exposing this case so that Nigerians can be your friends again. May God help us.
