Open Letter to Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State

Dear Sir, Save Our Soul
I am using this medium to thank Our Maker for the unending and unmatchable grace of greatness He has lavishly bestowed upon you and you philosophical life handed with that a big congratulations to the Man of our dear state for the hat-trick victories in all phases of judicial struggle. It’s indeed a case of “What God has joined together, Let no man put Asunder”.

With your style of leadership and character embedded in the sands of achievement coupled with the evergreen legacy that have been rigidly laid since God brought you to power. Now, we can say the future is visible from here.

Words cannot quantify how you have burdened it upon yourself to stand-out from the amalgamated ones that conglomerate themselves under a leaking umbrella to harness and enslave the people of Ondo State by all ends in means and your heroic adherence to be our defender come rain come shine. Much thanks for that patriotism.

By and Large, you have immeasurably proven yourself beyond measures and expectations as Man of the People. In governance, you have cast the pearls before swine not an air-castler like the past ones have been.

You brought down the house of cosmetic democracy, broke the record of achievement, usher us a brand new style of politics, gave us your word and stood by it.

Now we can proudly and boldly say we are from the Sunshine State. What a kind of Man you are. You are the apple of our eyes. May I with all sense of responsibility and humility in purpose propose the need for you to occupy higher office in subsequent time ahead.

I am writing you this letter to see to the circumstances circling the payment of teacher’s salary. I salute your sense of responsibility for thriving strong enough to revive the dilapidated educational sector by building state-of-the art school building across the state and the introduction of the verification exercise to probe all probable quest of civil servants thereby separating the wheat from the chaff. What a plus to your administration.

But Sir, be of the awareness that there are some verified teachers that scaled through the verification exercise which are still being stalled of their salaries unfortunately which a sorrowing mother, who, just of recent, lost his dear husband to a ghastly accident is a part.

This has really thrown the family into confusion, depression, devastation and tension of all sort.Being the only financial-courier which cater for the three undergraduates in various universities has detrimentally sink her spirit to sorrow and sadness. The last time her blood pressure was checked,it was near-grave.

Strangled by the salary of five months of non-payment since April, the whole house and its hold has been gripped with a hell of life.

This is threatening to future and its aspirations ,if the bull isn't catch by the horn in no time may truncate and thwart destiny.

She’s not a ghost-worker. She made it through the verification procedures and has been up and loyal to her service since 1986. She’s just been made to suffer what she’s not guilty of which I know as a humanitarian you, always regarding to whom regard is due, will wade in this barbaric occurrence.

As a Father,I appeal to you and your sense of justice to throw your weight to sanitizing the salary payment and by doing so you are not only restoring wrinkling hopes and joy but also securing the future of her children and inducing a worthwhile smile on all families affected by this unjust and ungodly mishap.

Sir, I beseech you to act promptly and swiftly to keep the wolf from their door.

We love you and will continually pray for you.

May the God of Adeboye be with you and your family.

Thanks Sir.

Respectfully,

Ola.
