The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has urged Christians and Nigerians in general to be optimistic about the nation, stressing that we all ought to be grateful to God for the abundant resources He had deposited in the land.
Speaking at a special prayer for various professionals at the church’s national headquarters in Ebute-Meta, Lagos, he narrated his experience in some African countries he visited recently.
Pastor Adeboye warned all Nigerians to stop speaking negative things about their country, saying from what he saw, the land is not that greener in other climes. He assured all that better days are coming.
“Nigerians always talk about hardship in the nation and often think of travelling abroad. When you travel to some countries and see what they are experiencing there, I think Nigerians will appreciate the Lord better. I went to Cameroun, Gabon and some other countries; if all these countries get 10 per cent of what we have in Nigeria they will thank God, but they still worship God with all their heart,” he added.

Nigeria has all it takes to be a great country if only our leaders will be less greedy. OI
