Late Bimbo Odukoya’s Son Makes Wave in Entertainment

The only son of Pastor Taiwo and late Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya, Jimmy Odukoya popularly called Pastor J, has released the video for his single - Conqueror. I hear the song is inspired by Romans 8:37 which says: ‘in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us’.

Although eyebrows were raised when the young man first decided to venture into the murky waters of the Nigeria entertainment industry as a performing artiste and model, but he seem to be proving critics wrong with every of his work. The Controversial Emergence of Mulikat Akande

It's no longer news that Mulikat Adeola-Akande, the Oyo State lawmaker who lost the House of Representatives speakership position to Aminu Tambuwal, has been named the House Majority Leader after months of political horse-trading that saw the PDP divided sharply between she and her colleague, Muraina Ajibola.

Hon. Adeola-Akande's appointment was announced on Thursday alongside that of 90 others to chair various standing committees of the House. At the moment, opinions are sharply divided as to what made her settle for the position of House Leader rather than that of Speaker.

Some see her acceptance of the "lesser" office as a seal on the marginalization of a woman who possessed the requisite qualities to manage the affairs of the House as the Speaker.  But others her of the opinion that she would not achieve anything in her new position since she may be uncomfortable working directly under a man who usurp her original position...
