Labour Begins Nationwide Strike On Monday January 9

After wide consultations with relevant stakeholders, the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress on Wednesday agreed on January 9th, 2012, as the take off date for the commencement of series of national strike actions in protest against the recent withdrawal of fuel subsidy in Nigeria.

I hear this will be the mother of all strikes; Nigerians are advised to get enough food stuffs.
