Why T.B. Joshua’s Prophesy Against Super Eagles Came to Pass

In the course of last week, the General Overseer of Synagogue Church, Prophet T.B. Joshua, predicted that Nigeria's Super Eagles will not qualify for the 2012 Nation cups. But many sports stakeholders didn’t take the man of God’s word seriously. Some of the players even made attempts to visit him for prayers but where rebuffed by officials of NFA (abi is it NFF) who brought in another prophet to 'pray' for them. 

At the end of the day, the result is clear for all doubting Thomas’ to see; Nigeria drew their most crucial match at the Abuja National Stadium on Saturday against Guinea. I Have Begged My Wives to Stop Getting Pregnant

Nigeria’s King of Juju music, King Sunny Ade, was recently asked why he hasn’t stopped making babies at his age. Here is his response... 
“It’s not that I still want to have more kids but if I decide not to raise kids anymore and one of my wives insists on having one, whom am I to say no. But the truth is, I have begged my wives not to get pregnant any more. I have grand children that are up to 16years and very soon, I will become a great grand pa and you don’t expect a great -grand father to continue to father kids”. 
So, all you wives, the ‘king’ has spoken. Kindly stop getting pregnant so that his grand children will not become his own children’s Uncle. LOLs!

MTN Power of Ten Concert in Benin and Owerri in Pictures

                       
The Power of 10 train which started in Makurdi on September 9, moved to Bening and Owerri last weekend. There were scintillating performances from 9ice, Flavor, Dr SID, Waconzy, Ikechukwu, Free Windz, etc. The train will hit its final destination - Lagos on October 14.

Nollywood Actress Loses Hair on Movie Set

On the set of a new movie, Nollywood ‘big’ actress, Adaora Ukoh, as part of her character in the yet to be released movie had her hair shaved completely. Although she wept on the movie set while the shaving took place, but it seems the babe is really loving her new look - that is without hair.

Creative Industry Awards Nomination Categories Revealed

Organizers of the Creative Industry Awards - the Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria - have released the available categories for nomination for the inaugural edition of the awards. The categories are 10 in all, they include:

Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Antique) 
Performing Arts (Live Music, Dance, Theatre, DJ)
Comedy (Stand-up comedy, TV comedy, Comedy films)
Music (Record labels, Production houses, Artiste Management, Marketers)
Film (Production houses, Producers, Marketers)
Publishing (Books, Newspapers, Magazines, Journals etc)
Audio Visual (Television, Radio)
New Media (Digitized content, Software, Video game, Animation)
Creative services (Architecture, Advertising)
Among the nomination categories; one overall winner will be chosen from the list of winners and declared the Creative Entrepreneur of the Year. 

Suitable candidates now have the chance to nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Submission of entries close on Monday, October 31.
