5 Primary School Pupils Die In Motor Accident Fire

News just reaching me now indicate that five out of the six pupils of Divine Wisdom Nursery and Primary School in Ibadan burnt yesterday when their Schdool bus caught fire, have been confirmed dead. 

I hear that they died at the emergency unit of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, where they were taken to for treatment.

DSTV's Africa Magic To Stop Showing Nollywood Movies

A group of Nigerian movie marketers at a press conference on Wednesday at O'Jez Bar and Restaurant at the national stadium in surulere, Lagos, disclosed that plans are in top gear to stop DSTV channel - Africa Magic, from showing Nollywood films.

The movie marketers say they've reached a conclusion on the action and would formally write to DSTV on the issue. The action is as a result of the poor sales their movies are recording in recent times.

Six School Children Get Burnt Inside School Bus

About six pupils of Divine Wisdom Group of Schools in Ibadan and the bus driver, Mr. Serif Oyedele, were badly burnt on Wednesday when a school bus conveying them to school suddenly caught fire.

Mr. Oyedele, who had his hand and leg burnt, stated that the mishap occurred when the engine of the bus suddenly stopped working after picking up the pupils from the bus stop.
