My Husband Is Making Love Advances To My Mother -Wife

Bilkisu Abdullahi of Kabala Quarters, Kaduna State, on Friday accused her husband, Dauda Kasim, of making love advances to her mother. Bilkisu, who made the accusation before a Kaduna Sharia Court, urged the court to dissolve their 4-year-old marriage.

She alleged that her husband was promiscuous and had been making frantic efforts to sleep with her mother. Bilkisu also accused Kasim of assaulting her and occasionally following up the assault with beating.

Pastor Remanded In Prison For Wanting To Preach To Oba

A Lagos-based clergy, Pastor Aba Peter, who allegedly went to a palace and attempted to preach and pray to a monarch in Lagos, has ended up in prison custody. The 42-year old pastor was held by the monarch’s aides and handed over to the police where he was charged to Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court with attempt to steal and loitering.

End Of Road For Sylva, As Supreme Court Dismisses Case

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the former governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva challenging the decision of the People Democratic Party not to use the primary he won in 2011 for the 2012 governorship election in Bayelsa which was won by Seriake Dickson.

In a unanimous judgment, the apex court held that it was within the exclusive preserve of a political party to choose its candidates for election. The court further held that the 2011 primaries conducted by the People Democratic Party had become irrelevant since no election was held in 2011.

Lagos Landlord Sent To Prison For Failure To Renovate House

Because he refused to put his house in proper habitable condition, a Customary Court in Mushin has sentenced a Lagos landlord, Mr. Adebola Mabinuori, to three months imprisonment. 

The prosecuting counsel for Mushin Local Government, Miss Oluwatayo Daramola, told the court that the house, located at No. 56, Ola St., Itire, was in a terrible condition. According to Daramola, there is also an illegal school within the premises.
