Hon. Ndudi Elumelu's Mother Rescued From Kidnappers

Security operatives have successfully rescued Madam Suzanne Elumelu, the 80 year old mother of Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, a members of the House of Representatives. The kidnappers had taken her from her farm in Delta State on Monday April 23 and she was with them for four days.

15 Christians Killed In Sunday Attack By Boko Haram

Casualty figures sent to Olu Famous Blog by residents of Kano from the scene of the bomb blast and at the Bayero University shows that no fewer than 15 worshippers at the Catholic campus fellow lost their lives in the attack.

Sadly, one of the sources say the figure may likely rise as some of the injured persons taken to the hospital are in critical conditions. According to an online media, the Commissioner of Police in Kano, Ibrahim Idris, said his team would contact the hospital for an update on the casualty figure.

Two Professors Killed By Boko Haram In Kano Attack

Information reaching Olu Famous Blog indicates that members of the Boko Haram overpowered security personnel at the entrance gate to the Bayero University Kano and gained entrance with easy, leading to a "successful wicked operation". 

According to a source, two Christian professors in the university who usually worship in one of the theatres with the students were among those killed in the attack.

Boko Haram Bombs Catholic Church, Kills Worshippers

Many of the worshippers were killed by the bombers and the JTF have started evacuating casualties, a source in Kano said.

Sources on ground at the sight of the latest bombings by members of the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram told Olu Famous Blog that multiple bomb explosion rocked the Bayero University Kano where Christian students congregate for their worship service.
