Nigeria Is In Trouble: Only 3 Students Scored 300 In JAMB

Corruption, nepotism, bribery, cultism, are some of the regular features in Nigeria's public/private institution in recent years. But things seem to be getting worse by the day.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, JAMB, released the result of the 2012 UTME on Friday with only 3 candidates, of the 1,503,931 registered candidates, scoring above 300. The results of 27,266 candidates across eight states were also withheld for various offences.

Jobless Man Impregnates His Neighbour’s Wife

The Nigerian Police in Lagos State have arraigned one Victor Idongesit, a 24-year-old jobless Lagosian before Apapa Magistrate Court, Lagos, after he made a shocking revelation to his neighbour, Mr. Stanley Anebor, 48, about his wife’s pregnancy and allegedly stabbed the man during a fight.

Victor, who hails from Akwa Ibom State, reportedly told Mr. Stanley who hails from Edo state that he was actually responsible for his wife’s pregnancy because he had sex with her several times before she became pregnant.
