Fire Razes Six-Storey NASCO Building in Lagos
The popular NASCO building in the Apapa area of Lagos, Nigeria, has been gutted by fire. The fire, which was allegedly caused by an electrical fault, raged from Monday night till the early hours of Tuesday.
Eyewitness account have it that firefighters were called to the scene and they responded promptly but their water was inadequate to put off the fire... The first floor of the building was said to be occupied by FinBank while other floors were occupied by clearing agents.

18-Year-Old Girl Looses Left Jaw after Complicated Surgery
...Now she needs second surgery to be free from malignant tumour.
It is hard to believe, but the truth is that the young lady in the above photograph, Nkiruka Alifose, at this moment has no jaw. For four years, Nkirika lived with a malignant tumour, which ravaged her whole mouth and left her with untold pain. Heaven, however, smiled on her when a Non-Governmental Organisation formally known as Better Life Foundation, now Victory Health for All Foundation, picked her up from her hometown, Nnentu Ugwunagbo in Asa Local Government Area of Abia state and began to seek help for her.
On her behalf, the president of the foundation, Mr. Akpaka Victory Okwudili through The Sun Publishing Limited, cried out to Nigerians for financial assistance to enable her undergo the surgery. Help did come and she underwent surgery at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu.
