I Will Never Get Married, Says Tuface Idibia

This picture is an example of some his 'bad' acts
What on earth could make a music superstar and father of three lovely kids make such a blunt statement, knowing that the whole world will somehow have access to the information. Who or what has inflicted so much pain on Nigeria's golden boy (abi na golden man) to make him voice out such hatred for the marriage institution? Or is it as a result of the 'bad bad things' he's done - both in secret and in the open?

These and many more are the questions that razed through my mind as I read the complete comment by Tuface Idibia this evening (Tuesday October 11, 2011). No doubt someone has done something terrible to him and it's only by reading his words below can you decode his emotions. Continue to read his comment...

My Wife Got Pregnant Before I Came Back From Travel

A lot of bedroom issues were discussed in the open before total strangers inside a court room at an Agege Grade 'A' Customary Court in Lagos, following a decision by one Mr. Stephen, a Sailor, to seek for the dissolution of his six-year old marriage.

Describing the present state of their marriage as irreconcilable, Stephen also accused his wife, Mrs. Funke Oyeniran, of abdicating her responsibilities as a wife, which includes but not limited to the welfare of their children.

Patrick Obahiagbon 'Grammatically' Condemns Moves to Remove Fuel Subsidy

Quote of the Day: "I have read with acatalectic disgust, governments asinine and puerile ratiocinations attempting to justiceate the proposed removal of subsidies from petroleum products. It has asseverated that it’s intentions is guided by the need to checkmate the odoriferous excesses of a machiavellian and mephistophelean cabal and i have said to myself, what a shame? What a self indicting admittal of the failure of governance? What an hocus-pocus? What an anathematous disdain for it’s citizenry?

Must the people now bear the brunt for governments ineptitude, inefficiency and pusillanimity in squaring up with these economic philistines and fat cows? I feel even more nauseated and vexed that the Governors Forum has posthaste conferred an apocalyptic imprimatur on this genie. Let’s not forget that majority of these same Governors had earlier called for this state of affairs as a condition sinequanon for paying the minimum wage. What an opprobrium? What a deprecable descent from the sublime to the ridiculous? It’s up to us all to put this Presidential and Gubernatorial genie back into the bottle but are we prepared?"

Shai, LWKMD! Please bear with him and just pretend you understand all he's said... But on a serious not,  he has said his own. What's your own view on the evil plot to remove fuel subsidy without enough functional refineries in Nigeria?

Policeman Rapes Nursing Mother Inside Police Cell

Cases of rape is fast becoming a national embarrassment to the government and people of Nigeria.  If concerted efforts are not channeled towards checkmating the ugly trend, our country may soon enter the records as one of the leading countries with cases of HIV/AIDS. How else can one explain a situation where some police officers are trying to downplay (or is it cover up) the heinous crime committed by a policeman against a nursing mother inside a police station at the dead of the night.

I read the story and the first thing that came to my mind is that this country has got some serious crises to deal with as regards the orientation and re-orientation of her youths. Since the exposure of the Abia gang rape, the NYSC lady gang rape in Kano, Waitress gang rape in Lagos, and many other cases, I’ve not seen or heard any campaign by the National Orientation Agency condemning the acts or urging Nigerian youths to desist from such stupidity. Yet some persons are earning fat salaries from government every month.
