Olu Jacobs, Others Nominated for National Honours

The Presidency has released a list of 364 distinguished Nigerians who are to receive various national honours. The list includes top Nollywood stars like Olu Jacobs, Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke, Kanayo O. Kanayo, and Osita Iheme.

All five will be awarded with Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR). These national honours to some of Nollywood's finest is a recognition of its immense contribution to Nigeria's economy... Congrats to all the recipients!

The collapsed building is a plaza located at No. 11 Aderibigbe Street, Maryland, Lagos. It was occupied by about 10 different companies with over 350 personnel. The plaza collapsed barely two hours after it was evacuated as a result of signs indicating that danger was imminent... I hear no life was lost.
