Don Jazzy Changed His Looks Because of a Thief

You all know that Don Jazzy, popularly called: It’s Don Jazzy Again (IDJA), is the strong man of MoHits Records with his signature on several smashing hits. You also know that before now he’s used to one pattern of dressing; that is an Indian-made overall gown with a walking stick to match.

But all that has since changed as the guy is often seen this days with just a T-shirt and pyjamas trousers. What you may not know about his new dress sense, however, is that it is related to an ugly incident which took in Enugu. Guys, here is why he changed his looks:

Well, I heard a story about a guy in Enugu who people used to call Don Jazzy because he dressed like - you know wearing the Indian-overall gowns I used to put on. He also carried a walking stick like I used to. Apparently he got broke along the line but still wanted to keep up with the trend so he was caught stealing and was eventually burnt alive. That’s why I now wear what I have on. Beside they are more comfortable. I prefer to call them colourful trousers.
So the next time you see Don Jazzy in one of those pyjamas, please do not laugh… Na condition make crayfish bend.

The show promises to parade the complete MoHits crew, which of course includes Wande Coal who has been widely speculated to have parted ways with the Don Jazzy-led recorded label.

The Concert will take place on Monday 29th August 2011, at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. By the way, the song is enjoying appreciable airplay thus far, winning new converts by the day.

Obama’s Approval Rating Not A Winning Number

In a new survey conducted by Gallup, President Barack Obama is doing pretty bad compared with two leading Republican candidates - Rick Perry and Mitt Romney - ahead of next year’s presidential election.

Among registered voters, the president is tied with Texas Governor, Rick Perry, and trails former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, by 2 points. From every indication, most Republicans favour Perry and Romney in a race against Obama, with 92 and 91 percent, saying they would vote for those two candidates. Obama’s approval rating continues to hover around 40 percent - a dangerously low total, according to experts. "This is below the rating that any of the six incumbent presidents re-elected since Eisenhower has had at the time of the presidential election," Gallup writes.

Could this be an indication of what to come for the first Black-American to occupy the White House? Well, maybe things would take a turn for good in the months ahead... time will tell.

Students Asks Jonathan to Halt Salami’s Suspension

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has asked President Goodluck Jonathan to immediately withdraw the suspension of the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami.

In a statement signed by its President-elect, Dauda Mohammed, the association challenged the president to use the opportunity of the "judicial razzmatazz" to prove to the nation his commitment to the rule of law, justice and the fight against corruption, stressing that the president should allow the court to decide on the matter since it is already before it.

It would be recalled that Justice Salami has been on suspension since last week on the recommendation of the Nigeria Judicial Council following his refusal to “apologize to the Chief Justice of Nigeria”.
