Female Students Wins Aeroplane In MTN Ultimate Wonder Promo

In a bid to prove critics wrong, MTN Nigeria on Tuesday announced the winner of its controversial "Win an Aeroplane" promo, following a ban on lotteries and promos by the NCC.

The 'lucky' winner of the brand new Sessan 182T Aeroplane is 27-year-old Gladys Ebube Essien-Garricks, a student based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to the statement on the official MTN Facebook page “When contacted on the phone, Ebube said she would prefer the cash equivalent of N64 million.”

Congrats to the lucky Gladys!

  5. Aeroplane been won in Nigeria by a phone customer? Never heard of such gigantic promotion anywhere before. But we just have to wait and see if this is, in fact, true to its announcement. Goodluck to the luckiest woman that has won the big prize.

  7. MTN and fake promos. They know Nigerians are gullible. The question is, how many planes have been won in their native South Africa

  8. That airplane is called Cessna 182 and not Sessan. Dummies.
