COSON Salutes EFCC For Declaring War Against Copyright Infringers

Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), the nation’s sole government approved copyright collective management organization for musical works and sound recordings has commended the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its pledge to wage a forceful war against infringers of copyright in Nigeria.

The commendation was contained in a letter dated November 5, 2012, signed by COSON Chairman Chief Tony Okoroji and addressed to the Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde.
