First Nation Airways (formerly Bellview Airline), which sources alleged the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, bought for $30 million has commenced operation with its first flight plying the Lagos/Abuja route. Wishing them safe trip all the way.
But come to think of it, this is a clear indication that the...
quickest and cheapest means to make money in Nigeria is through politics. If a former governor can buy an airline company for $30 million and still have enough cash to refurbish/resuscitate the firm, it goes a long way to show why people would stop at nothing to attain political office in Nigeria.
I even heard another former governor, from the South-South region, is the owner (biggest shareholder) in Arik Air. Nigeria is really bleeding and it’s only a matter of time before politicians suck the country dry... Oh no, my country Nigeria is indeed at the mercy of politicians.
People who have worked hard all their lives and decide to take time to serve their fatherland end up with insults and non challant remarks from unscrupulous members of the public, i mean, not one politician, in Nigerian History, has gotten any good comment from the public, Nigerian public should remember that they would never have been politicians if they were nobody, meaning they had before they came on board, and if in their decisions to continue, you abuse them, how do you intend to make your country develop ? learn to respect your leaders....
ReplyDeleteshut up, u are part of dem, nemesis will trap u soon watch out
Deleteeven though its wrong to loot d resources of this country, they should endeavour to reinvest these monies back into our economy.
ReplyDelete"... learn to respect your leaders"? You only give honour to whom honour is due... If our leaders were altruistic & selfless, the public would not abuse them : but majority of them only serve themselves not d public, so they should forget about respect. We want Nigeria to change for the better but we (especially our leaders) are not willing to change our ways,... it is high time we stopped deceiving ourselves...
ReplyDeleteWe need to activate our reasoning on some issues, buying Airline does not mean he use or he does not use government money. What about those mumu from North or those imbecile from south that take government money and end up cruising in Dubai, or build refinery in another country.
ReplyDeletewho b d goat wen say mk we respect "your leaders". i dont need to be rude but you are a Goat of goats kfil
ReplyDeleteI for once have never being a great fan of this Tinubu guy. All this political moves he is making in the name of fighting for democracy is nonsence, he has alterior motive which is evident. Sure you guy know that he owns one of the most expensive hotel in Nigeria. You can only spend American dollars in this hotel. And if you dont know, this hotel is on the left hand side just before you get to the new Lekki toll gate. Idiot! You generations will surely pay for what you have done to Lagosians and South West as a whole in the name of ACN. He told Senator Mamowora to step down for his wife, a very vibrant man in the senate. Am sure you know now that Bola Tinubu's wife is one of the bench warmers in the upper house now. What a shame!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite unfortunate that Nigerians are found of celebrating mediocres, if not why on earth will someone ever think that Tinubu should be celebrated for using looted Lagos Government funds to buy off Bell view? He can only worth celebrating when he handover that company to Lagos state. The same thing is applicable in the North, while Boko Haram are busy killing innocent people, their governors are busy looking for more money to loot. Imagine the ugliest governor in Nigeria asking for off shore money when nothing is working in Niger except his noise? Just wish one day, something happens and all the ill gotten wealth will be turned back to the rightful owners.
ReplyDeletePlease where is the head office of the first nation airline. I want to apply for a job.
