President Goodluck Jonathan’s spokesman, Reuben Abati, has responded to accusations that Jonathan and members of his entourage refused to say amen during last weekend’s democracy day Church Service when Most Reverend Peter Akinola offered a prayer against corrupt public officials. You Are Acting In Bad Faith -NBA Blasts Jonathan

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, President Joseph Daudu (SAN) has condemned the refusal of President Goodluck Jonathan to allow the reinstatement of Justice Ayo Salami, as recommended by the National Judicial Council, NJC.

The association has therefore urged the President to immediately reinstate the suspended President Court of Appeal in the interest of justice. Below is a statement released by the NBA on the matter on Sunday:

Bus Conductor Naked Himself In A Fight With LASTMA

Some Lagos bus drivers and conductors really need psychiatric check. The guy pictured above is Ibrahim, a conductor of a commercial bus in the city. During a fight with an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, he got so mad that he naked himself.

Sadly, he ended up stabbing the official, identified as Akingbohungbe Olalekan in the head... I hear the unruly conductor has been charged to court.

Fraud Suspect Vindicates Obasanjo; Says He Paid Bribe To Senators

First it was Prof. Pat Utomi who supported the statement by ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo that the National Assembly is filled the rogues and armed robbers by disclosing that a serving Senator duped him. Now, the principal suspects standing trial in the Pension Fund Scam, Dr. Sani Shu’aibu Teidi, has disclosed that he and other accomplices gave the Senator Aloysius Etuk-led Senate Committee a N3bn bribe in dollars.

The bribe, he said, was to stall the prosecution of the accused persons.

It was with great shock that Nigerians watched how their president, governors, ministers and many of those managing the nation's resources failed to demonstrate a public commitment to the fight against corruption on Sunday in Abuja.

At the service held at the Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, to commemorate the 2012 Democracy Day, Olufamous.com observed that the guest preacher, Most Reverend Peter Akinola, in his sermon, challenged Mr. President and his entourage to pray against politicians stealing Nigeria's wealth but, unfortunately, they went blank.
