To anyone who wants to run to 'greener pasture', in case you've not heard, things are not the same anymore in America. Black unemployment is currently at the highest it has been in 27 years; over one-in-four African Americans lives in poverty. What the video above shows is that it can happen to anyone, no matter how much education you have acquired.
55 year old Maurice Johnston lives in Boston, by way of Cleveland. He has a Masters Degree in Plasma Physics from Dartmouth College, and a masters in Electrical Engineering and acoustics from Purdue University. He has worked over 10 years at Lockheed Aerospace & Aerodyne Research Corp. Mr. Maurice has taught in Science and Physics, he is very well spoken and very kind. So why is Maurice homeless? Find out by watching the video above.
Seriously speaking this is really awkward. Why can't he have a job in spit of all these great degrees. I just think there is something more about the man, attitude, psychological or what ever that is preventing him from securing a job
