It has been confirm that there was indeed a survivor in the ill-fated Dana Air plane that crashed in
the Iju/Shaga area of Lagos on Sunday killing almost 160 persons. According to what sources on ground told Olufamous.com, a young girl was pulled out of the wreckage.
Details about the girl are yet unknown, but one source said she is white. She was badly wounded and was immediately rushed off for medical attention.
It would be recalled that initial reports quoting the NCAA DG said there was no survivor. "It was a Dana (airline) flight out of (the capital) Abuja to Lagos with about 153 people on board... I don't believe there are any survivors," Harold Demuren said.
