It's now obvious why President Goodluck Jonathan made an emergency broadcast on Tuesday morning where he direct the release of billions of Naira to several flood-raved states in Nigeria.

The president's home town in Otueke, Bayelsa State is flooded, several Governors, Senators and Ministers can no longer access their country homes due to heavy flood.
As seen in the these pictures the minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, needed a canoe before she could get to her compound in Akili village, Anambra State.
Why must our leaders take action only when they're affected?
Nigeria is exhibiting failed state syndrome...blame greedy politicians at all levels.

ReplyDeleteProperties worth millions are being destroyed by floods, those in government will use our money to refurbish their houses after the flood. But what happens to ordinary Nigerians without access to government money?
