The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and founder of Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, on Saturday joined the league of Nigerian preachers who own private jets.
Pastor Oritsejafor’s jet, marked N431CB, was announced to the congregation during the 40th anniversary of the church, which coincided with his birthday held on the church premises in Warri, Delta State.
The announcement of the 10-Seater Bombadier/Challenger 601 Aircraft elicited a loud ovation and applause from the congregation. Jubilant worshippers spent over 15 minutes congratulating one another, while the cleric did not make any comment on the jet, which was said to have been purchased for him by the church.
Although the cost of the aircraft was not disclosed, an updated version of the 1994 series of the aircraft reportedly costs $4.9m.
In his remarks at the anniversary celebration, Pastor Oritsejafor, said if Nigeria must reclaim its lost glory and be great again, all Nigerians must be ready to put the nation first, and be ready to make sacrifices.

Is this Man really a Man of God. How many of you know his past. What happened to his late wife, who died in his hands? Now members contribute to buy him a jet. what does he need it for? Why can't members contribute into a fund and help less previlaged members of the society.
ReplyDeleteTheir contributions will go a long way if one member of the congregation or society is helped out.
Think about it guys
people beware of how you are buying and acquiring private jets in Nigeria cos all private jets money is not pour and God is not a baby seeing money that meant for poor ones using in acquiring private jets.thus most private jet will soon be crashing so people be warned. Is either you return your jet and convert the money in to cash and help the charity or you abandon it that's all. pls this message is a warning to all private jet owners in poor Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteNest year will be war against private jet owners in Nigeria.People are suffering in Nigeria and some people are busy buying private jets anyhow. What do you need jet for ?? can't you help the poor ones ? instead of buying plane ! it is a pity, all these comments shows the level of understanding and spirituality of u guys, their jets will never crash, they are not thieves, they are only reaping the fruit of their labor to show how our God rewards those who serves Him diligently, these men are Nigerians but don't operate with the economy of this world, but Heaven. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and Solomon were not poor, even Jesus was not poor too He only became poor that through His poverty we might be rich. Surely, God will forgive all of you who criticized His anointed
