A suicide bomber on Saturday morning drove a car into the offices of Airtel in Mallam Kato Square in Kano and exploded the bomb-rigged vehicle. Olufamous.com gathered from sources on ground in Kano that the multi-million naira edifice is still in flames as at the time of reporting.
It remains a surprise to many how the suicide bomber was able to gain access into the premises, which is heavily guarded by combat-ready security men.
Casualty figure remains sketchy but a source told Olufamous.com that the area is in commotion. He added that he has seen injured persons but could not go close enough due to the presence of heavily armed security personnel.
Recall that the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram had promised deadlier attacks during the festive period.
Th bombings is because this government has refuse to negotiate and settle Boko Haram. How can u settle militants and not settle Boko Haram? Why? Nasir

DeleteBokoharam has nothing to do wit hausa really from what av read and seen so far. We are all bokoharam, meaning all nigerian ethnic group are involed. Sometimes last year an ogbomoso man from oyo state was caught in a local government in kano state and confirmed to be bokoharam after investigation. Is he also a hausa man. An average hausa man on confrontation on d street would tell u he is not in support of all the killings. Who knows if ur father is also a member. After investigation the people that masterminded bayero university church 's bomblast were caught, it was confirmed that they are christian. On about three occasions, christian were caught trying to bomb church in plateau and kaduna, we all read it in the national dailies. I think both religion needs to pray fervently for a peaceful nigeria. If I'm a muslim, does that mean I should kill my brothers or relative that are christian? Islam never preaches that. It encourages peaceful coexistence between both religion.
