The popular 90s musician says we should respect President Jonathan no matter what:
President Goodluck Jonathan is Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, beyond his persona; he is the symbol of the Nigerian state. He is the embodiment of all our yearnings and aspirations.
I believe that whatever your quarrel is with our president's speech pattern, however disagreeable you find his policies, to whatever extent you feel aggrieved by his leadership, and however incompetent you find his entourage, see to it that you articulate your sentiments and present your argument with civility and respect, and do so with the passion of someone whose love of country is greater than the resentment of its president.
And dare to go the second mile by letting that same love of our country give you the moral fortitude to defend the image of our president against those who wish to tarnish it more than correct his shortcomings, even if you can't defend his policies. And if you find this hard to do, remember that it is only hard because it is the right thing to do.

He is the embodiment of all our yearnings and aspirations". But the fact remains that his administration has not added any value to the Nigerian state, rather his leadership has brought retrogression to us as a people, and the only way the people of this great Country Nigeria, can express their displeasure is to alter those terrible comments about this socalled "symbol of the Nigerian state". Jonathan is the commander in thief not commander in chief pls make no mistake about that, if you say he meant well, is the amount that has being spent since he is in govenrment comensurate with results on ground? pls somebody answer, whenever he speaks in public forum he frets like a confused asshole, trying to look for something he can say his government has done. i watched him with amapour inverview and compared to other world and business leaders i observed he couldnt even articulate english cant elaborate issues being asked both on nepa and corruption, on nepa he cant give figures on our generating capacity whether its 4500 or 3000, i didnt even no he is such a vagabond just like people say he is , am sure ha must have gone there with the highest number of delegates, very unfortunate indeed. when obama gave his speech i ran away from work to watch it , not my president there is just nothing to write home about in this country. but am hopeful
ReplyDeleteHere is a so called President Christina Amanpour asked why tonnes of crude oil was stolen everyday frm Nigeria,depriving his govt of d badly needed revenue that he needs for capital projects in Nigeria,his answer is that d stolen crude oil was refined abroad! What a Bozo!

Meanwhile, Nigeria has 3 redundant refineries which should have been fixed and properly maintained. He does not even believe there is corruption in Nigeria!

How for God sake can a president of a country go to such an outfit like CNN and begin to lie about security and power supply in Nigeria?
