One of the most interesting congratulatory messages for the Super Eagles was from Honourable Patrick Obahiagbon. Moments after the Nigerian team defeated their Ivorian counterparts to qualify for the semi-finals, the former House of Reps member took to Twitter to express his happiness, with his usual big words.
Below is how he 'lavished' grammar on Super Eagles...
“Its my emblem pleasure to congratulate our superior Melofarm exclamagated Bermasaur on their recent victory against Ivory Coast.
“As the refermed, solid giants are to face Winners of the later game in an uncavoured camfamgnam match, my empyrean paradisiac rendezvous advice to the Super Eagles is for them to recumbently metragaloblicly believe in God.
“If possible, they should parademically paralyze their postulated orthodexial legs. I wish them arxiatical luck.”

ReplyDeleteThis is waste of time. Nobody understand or use these bombastic language any more. Listen to the Queen of UK or Obama of US who are the head native speakers and if there is any jaw breaking word in their speech. The language belong to them and we cannot know it better, as nobody can claim to be more knowledgeable in Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa languages than the native speakers in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, any student that write this type of language in WAEC or NECO will fail. He may fail two more WAEC or NECO to clear the debt.
Has anyone ever checked if his grammar is indeed correct? Lolz

ReplyDeleteGud prayer & advice hon. i hope d eagles will understand this ur grammalytic grammer.
ReplyDeleteHonourable Patrick defied in using this kind of bombastic language for the super eagles because the players never went to tertiary institutions. Even if some of them had gone to the school, it is opprobrious to use this kind of bewildered phrase to them.
