While Nigerians are still in shock over the N2billion that was approved for the construction of a home for the Vice President, Namadi Sambo, news has filtered in that a fresh N4billion has been earmarked for the construction of a "mission house" for the First Lady, Patience Jonathan.
Olufamous.com gathered that the Senate has expressed concerns over the huge amount budgeted for a First Lady that is not even recognized in Nigeria's constitution.
The amount was listed in the 2013 Budget of the Federal Capital Territory. The lawmakers also queried the expenditure of N7.5billion for the management of the city as well as another spending of N150million for the renovation of the Guest House of the Vice President in Asokoro, Abuja.
I think this Goodluck Jonathan-led government is kind of reckless with Nigeria's money.

All these nonsense are happening because Nigerians dont know their right. When 2015 come majority will still vote in this morons..
ReplyDeleteThe mission house will help our Madam host her guests comfortably so its a worthy development.
