NCC To Replace Toilet Doors With N75m

2012 budget defence by the Commission’s management led by the Chief Executive, Dr. Eugene Juwah.  The Chairman of the House Committee on Communication, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, also raised an objection over the budget of N25million as legal fees for a lawyer who drafted a bill, which he said was already before the House.

Also, the committee queried another N30million budgeted for replacement of old furniture, despite an allocation of N25million for same purpose last year, and as well as the N10 million proposal for replacement of air conditioners, despite an allocation of N10 million in year 2011 for same item.

The committee equally questioned why the commission would propose N89 million for project vehicles and also budget N72 million for quality of service monitoring vehicles.
