Reports of casualties remain sketchy but there is commotion in the area.
Sources in Kano said news of the incident have thrown the state into a panic mood as workers and business owners are running back home. Some are even heading to neighbouring states, a source added.
Also, there were reports that two explosions occurred in the Zoo Road area of Kano on Wednesday morning. The attack, by two men riding on a bike, was a police post. The perpetrators threw the explosives at the post, injuring people around.
A source said gunshots are heard from different directions. Security agencies are yet to make a statement.

Thank God... My woman no go Kano again for the rest of this year to buy goods. This issue of Kano bombing is something else now.

ReplyDeleteOlufamous,point of correction!At d time of d attack only 4 people were in d bus,as all d passengers disembarked at unguwa 3 motor park!Secondaly d picture u put is not dat of d attack,infact d tin explosives did not do damage to d bus nor injured any of d 4 people on board!And d pic above is not dat of d attack!Its an unfortunate situation,but pls let's report things d way dey are not exaggerates!
