Popular musician Zaaki Azzay has cried out over the safety of his kids, accusing his estrange wife, Hadiza, and a non-governmental organisation, ‘Project Alert’ of illegally holding onto his children.
“My question now is why is ‘Project Alert’ keeping my children? I haven’t set my eyes on my children for almost a year now. In fact, my Christmas is going to be a black Christmas without them. What kind of organisation will promote divorce?
"They never called me or sent me a text all this while to hear my own side of the story. Instead they just saw an opportunity for cheap publicity and to make money because all they did was send me a letter after they have filed for divorce and asked me to pay N300,000 every month and then went to the press.
"I have not seen my children close to a year now. Do they know the pain that is causing me? Do you know why I’m sounding like this now? These people are intimidating me.”
Zaaki's outcry is coming after Hadiza barged in on him at his office without prior notice, demanding to see their daughter (the only of the three children left in his custody).

ReplyDeleteZaaki you really have work to do because your case sounds like a longterm issue, did you actually beat up your wife ? and did you really build a relationship that worked in view of your concerns ,how much trust does the woman still have for you?, do you not know that no matter what a woman does or beating her up would never ever change her ?, you may have bruised and grieved her spirit with your behaviour over the years and because of this things are falling apart,you need Gods intervention in your marriage if there is still hope that it can be saved. trust is like an egg once it is broken redemption is very slim.Make up your mind as to the kind of wife you want , do you want a subservient slave who would listen to you like a biological robot?, do you want a real friend and life partner who would agree to diagree with you and diagree to agree with you?, do want spirited debates as against you beating her up when you both have to argue.The relationship between you and your wife needs a lifeline if there is anything left, God help you.
ReplyDeleteI think from all indications the relationship has broken down completely. It is wrong if you as the man was violent. Some women can really be a pain in the neck but always retrain going physical. I think the best thing is to quick track the divorce processes and get it done with so that the law of the land will yell you two who the kids will be staying with and vice versa. Its always tough when the kids are almost a crowd(3). Children suffer when we adults ,particularly the women allow their egos to mess up things.A xtain woman is given an injuction by God to submit to your husband in all things. The bible did not even say a woman should runaway from a violent husband ,but I think a woman that is submissive will hardly received any slaps from her man. Infact men worship wives who are submissive and respectful. I advice you insist that you will be seeing your children as when you want. I also advice you allow them still stay with your wife ie if she is responsible enough till they attend at least age 16.I DO FEEL FOR KIDS WHEN PARENTS ARE HAVING ISSUES AND THE HOME IN DISARRAY.
