The erstwhile Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Muktar Yero, who is sworn in as governor of the state on Sunday following the death of the former governor, Patrick Yakowa in a helicopter crash on Saturday, was an accountant in VP Namadi Sambo’s company.
In 1997, Mr. Yero joined the services of Nalado Nigeria Limited, a company owned by Vice President Namadi Sambo as Chief Accountant.
After his election as the governor of Kaduna state in 2007, Sambo appointed his company's accountant, Mr. Yero, as Commissioner of Finance in the state from 2007 to May 2010.
In May 2010, Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa named him the Deputy Governor, with Sambo's influence.
A certified Public accountant, Mr. Yero was born on May 21, 1968 in Agwan Kaura in Zaria City of Kaduna state. He started his working experience as Assistant Accountant during his National Youth Service Corps at Ogun State Purchasing Corporation between 1991 and 1992.

The state is now in total control of Sambo and his boy. Politicians and their greed for power. I suspect Hausa muslims.. JULIUS
