The content of the Will created surprises for family members when an ‘unknown’ name, Teny Harman, was mentioned as number one among the late Ikemba Nnewi’s children.
More shockers came as the name of Sylvester Ojukwu, his supposed first son, was conspicuously omitted from the list of children endorsed by Ojukwu himself. More so, Emeka Ojukwu Jnr. (his second son) only got a property in Nnewi as his entitlement.
Widow of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Bianca, was mostly favoured as the Will of the ex-Biafra leader was read in Enugu, on Friday.
The Will was read by the Chief Registrar, Enugu Judiciary and Probate Registrar, Mr. Dennis Ekoh.
Bianca, the late Igwe of Oraukwu, Emeka Ojukwu and James Chukwuneme are listed as trustees and executors of the Will, while the names of Ojukwu’s children were next.
Besides, the late Ojukwu stated that only those listed as his children in the Will, and no other person, should be regarded as his children.
Those listed as his children are Tenny Harman, Emeka Ojukwu, Mmegha, Okigbo, Ebele, Chineme, Afam and Nwachukwu.
Meanwhile, Bianca could not hide her surprise when the name of Tenny was earlier mentioned among Ojukwu’s children as she started whispering with family members who were in the registrar’s office with her. She later radiated with a smile when the Will awarded Ojukwu’s GRA, Enugu mansion, ‘Casabianca,’ in her favour.
Bianca also got two properties located at Plot 20, Jabi, Abuja, with Certificate of Occupancy number 4405, as well as another located at Kuje, Abuja.
The late Biafran warlord also willed to Bianca all personal effects, money and cars for her upkeep and that of her children.
He also allotted to her two hectares of land at Umuezeani Umudim Nnewi on the condition that she does not remarry.
His 'strange' daughter, Tenny, was allotted Jubilee Hotels in Kaduna State, but when the codicil was read, it was observed that the hotel had been sold, thus she would receive the proceed from the sale.
The deceased further willed a hectare of land each to all his daughters but directed that his Nnewi property is “to remain a binding legacy to us for generations to come.”

How are we sure the wife didnt make input into the will before or after? Why denying his first son? Na wa oooooo
ReplyDeleteHow are we NOT sure the wife didn't make input into the will before or after?? Is it abnormal to will more properties to your loved wife?
DeleteFor a man to disown his son, there must be something serious that happened.
this is a real game how can a man like ojukwu Disowns His First Son something is fishing and we all know the bianca and first son are not in good hand haaaaaaaaaaa God this is abuja connection ooo
ReplyDeleteWell life goes on, denying his 1st son is so bad. It depends on how they their relationship was when Ojukwu was alive. But hope isnt lost, I believe the son have his own properties too. I didnt get anything from my fathers properties as my blood brothers swindle my Dads will to their favour and sold everything. Today they run to me for asistance, ofcourse I help them. We are brothers 4 life. He should work hard and correct his fathers mistake by showing luv to all. God guide him in this period.
ReplyDeleteWhy will a man willed almost all his assets to his wife instead of the kids.Bianca may be very good on bed to the late ojukwu.
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteThe wife is half and all the children the other half. They were one, when he was alive. We should begin to respect and appreciate thing for what they are. The eldest son should work hard and build his own empire and God will surely bless him if he humbles himself and work in the way of the lord. This is a lesson for every son waiting for their parent to die, so they can inherit their properties. In fact, his father have the right to give them to whoever he wants to give them to without any questions.
ReplyDeletethat means that Ojukwu didnt have much in his name. he lived off his fathers wealth.Even the sylvester his first son frm another he disinherited, is worth more than Ojukwu himself. I wonder why he shud even bother to contest.
ReplyDeleteHis second son is from his first wife so he is the legitimate guy!One house at Nnewi for a guy who is a lawyer? That is not bad. he gat edication and the name so he can take care of himself!
I don't see anytin wrong in giving bianca d largest share of his property cos wit d luk of tins it is only bianca's children ojukwu has not rily trained n dey re still young, so let's be considrate here.
