DeleteJust try and complete the story my brother to ensure a fair and balanced story. What was the position of the Iranian govt? The man was a rapist and religion is just used to do a cover up, in this century am shocked pple beleive such tasteless and unreal stories. There are about 2 percent Christians in Iran and some percent of Jews who practice their religion freely in Iran. Just try and balance your story oga. I just finished checking all details, i urge u to try same.

DeleteA trial court in Iran has issued its final verdict, ordering a Christian pastor to be put to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, according to sources close to the pastor and his legal team.
ReplyDeleteSupporters fear Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old father of two who was arrested over two years ago on charges of apostasy, may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years.
It is unclear whether Nadarkhani can appeal the execution order.

The court then gave Nadarkhani the opportunity to recant, as the law requires a man to be given three chances to recant his beliefs and return to Islam.
His first option was to convert back to Islam. When he refused, he was asked to declare Muhammad a prophet, and still he declined.
Iran’s judiciary had delayed in issuing a final verdict, fearing the decision would have far-reaching political implications.
Sources say Nadarkhani has been advised by family members, lawyers and members of his church to remain silent throughout his ordeal, out of fear that authorities may use his statements against him, a strategy commonly employed by the regime.

ReplyDeleteHe has surely gone to be with the Lord and am sure he is better than his killers!
ReplyDeleteI can see that all xtians commenting here don't know their bible, otherwise they wouldn't be commenting as such. In both Islam and xtianity, death is the penalty for apostasy.( Deuteronomy 17:3-5 "And he should go and worship other gods and bow down to them or to the sun or the moon or all the army of the heavens, .....and you must stone such one with stones and such one must die.") ( 2 Chronicles 15:13 "All who would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.") (Deuteronomy 13:6-9). So if the man was born a xtian, Islam forbids forcing him to accept Islam as no compulsion in religion. But if you are a Muslim, and you wants to leave Islam, you are free to leave a country where they are using Islamic law otherwise, the law will take its course on you.
ReplyDeleteDeuteronomy 13:6-9 "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying: Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other, or gods of other religions), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people."
