As a result of the shame that the issue of the $620,000 bribery scandal has brought on the House of Representatives, which is currently on a two-week recess, Olufamous.com gathered from very authoritative sources in the National Assembly that the leadership of the House has agreed to reconvene on Friday for an emergency session.

Most of the lawmakers are said to be in Abuja already and holding strategic meetings on the issue as we as mapping out the way forward.

Pastor Rapes 11yrs Old Girl Brought To Him For Deliverance

The pastor of one of the popular Pentecostal churches in Onitsha, Anambra State, is being detained at the Central Police Station (CPS) in Onitsha for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl. He was arrested last weekend when the girl’s mother discovered that she was bleeding from her private part, a few days after she spent three days in the pastor's house for prayers over her alleged demonic possession.

Problem started when the mother of the girl, Mrs. Chioma Onyeji, who leaves in Asaba, Delta State capital, attended the pastor’s programme at Onitsha with her daughter at the prompting of her neighbor.

The pastor, whose church is situated at Tasia Road, Inland Town, Onitsha, was said to have told Mrs. Onyeji that her daughter (name withheld) would die in the next five days if she went back home with her.

Popular human rights activities and Lagos lawyer, Femi Falana, has predicted that former President Olusegun Obasanjo will go to jail if his eight-year tenure as Nigeria's leader is investigated.

DANA Crash Tragedy: 2 Families Fight Over One Corpse

But for the timely intervention of security men at the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial Morgue of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Lagos, two families would have exchange blows on Monday as both relations lay claim to one corpse.

The dispute over the body began when the family members of the late Mr. Jones Ifekanwa, who died in the Dana plane crash, were told that another family, who reportedly refused to disclose their name, had also lay claim to the same body as their own.
