Giving the level of injury, the 14-year-old girl...
(name withheld) is currently undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Lagos while her father has been arrested by the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Woman Affairs.
The incident, which took place at 3, Adeyiga Street, Ikorodu, have been attracting lots of unsavoury comments against the Mr. Solarin, a Laboratory Assistant at Spintex Mill.
“The incidence took place two Fridays ago, but a concerned neighbour who saw the state of the young girl, put across a distress call to the ministry. We responded immediately and rescued the girl and she is presently being treated in the hospital,” said Mrs. Alaba Fadairo, Director of Child Development in the Ministry.
“We were surprised when we saw the girl. There were deep wounds on her body. Her father poured hot water on her private part. He said she licked soup from the pot. The girl said she was given N50 for the day and that she wanted to test if the soup was hot or not,” she added.

In his reaction, Mr. Solarin had this to say: “I just want to apologise about it. I did it in annoyance. I regret what I did and I just want to apologise... I just wanted to scare her with the water so that she will know the difference between good and bad. I did not know it would result in this. I am very sorry”.
Mrs. Fadairo disclosed that the father will be arraigned in court soon.

I doubt,the act of slavery that got a part of her vagina damaged,you are their saying the man should be left alone because he apologized.The so-called man would have still apologized if he had killed the innocent girl in the process.It is high time we learn to respect the right of a child in this lawlessness country.

Kalu I'm sorry to say but u are nothing but an ignorant anthropomorphic being. U deserve to be jailed for life with this mental deranged father. It is because of such abuse, I am studying Law. This is MANSLAUGHTER and ATTEMPTED MURDER. This man has surely abused this girl physically, emotionally and mentally and this scar can never be put out of her life. I pray that God will heal her and remove every damage and pain fast in Jesus name AMEN.
