The lingering crises between the Lagos State government and its sacked (but recalled) doctors is far from over as the doctors have called the bluff of Governor Babatunde Fashola. The angry doctors, on Friday, insisted that aluta must continue as their reinstatement remains a ruse.
Could it be there's more to this issue than we know?
Maybe PDP hand don dey enter the thing because u cant trust them.

Fashola should just sake dem straight. No sentiments... Shina
ReplyDeleteThese doctors seem to have a hidden agenda
ReplyDeleteSome of those Drs are accidental bcos some of them don‘t have value for human life.- Lekan.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they crying to the whole world, when they know they dont any work to do? They must stop all these child play, afterall no sector of the civil service received a quarter of what they are paid. If they know they are not ready to work, they should keep their lips sealed now & 4eva. BRF should go ahead to employ better & ready hands to attend to heaith related problems of the good pple of Lagos state. These medical officers must not see themselves as super human. Afterall, they are not 100% dedicated to duty.
ReplyDeleteI think both paties should genuinely seek a lasting solution so far I am utterly dissappointed in the process of reconcilliation the whole thing na small problem to a correct leader,if na another country wey we get disagrement shey na so war go break out it is not when a big problem comes that you learn how to solve a small one.both parties need each other like husband and wife, forget all what has transpired in the past afterall japan and US almost finsih them selves for world war 2 but them be padi now.let's learn to be true progressives and not drawbacks even in the UK doctors are threathening a 1 day warning strike so no problem is peculiar to Nigeria only
ReplyDeleteThey should tell us the main problem (btw them) instead of playing with people's health.
ReplyDeleteD only way 2 safe gud people of Nigeria 4rm dese money hungry doctors(they are paid beter dan any civil servant) is 4 d NASS 2 enact laws dat will ban dem 4rm going on their reckless and selfish strike without cosidering d implication of it on d masses. After all, law does not permit security organizations 2 strike because of people's lives and property.

ReplyDeleteWhat is this author insinuating? Are you not aware that the whole problem is the failure of LASG to implement CONMESS for the doctors as agreed over a year ago? That this led them to do a warning strike to bring their private effort at getting the govt to honor the agreement to the public domain? The sack was a distraction by the LASG and was antilabour and dictatorial! That LASG has reversed the sack does it mean that they have dealt with the problem? I don't blame the doctors as the Govt is still insincere! Why is the Govt silent about the CONMESS issue which is the heart of the problem? Who is Fashola & Tinubu deceiving? Certainly not me! But maybe they are deceiving the author of this page and most of the above commentators! *Hissing*
ReplyDeleteThe LASG is insincere cos what let to d sack of d LAS doctors is dat dey emback on strike due to failure of d LASG to impliment CONSOLIDATED MEDICAL SALARY SCHEME (CONMESS) signed about a year ago. Almost all other states are paying d same CONMESS. LASG can do d same rather dan sacking doctors and complicating issues. I advice u remain mute rather dan xpressing ur ignorance to d entire world if u dont know d genesis of dis issue and how to contribute meaningfully. *tatafo*
