“What kind of prayer is this son? I need not any prayer for long life. I have lost some of my children while alive. Let death come now, I am fulfilled. Thank you for your prayer. No enemy can kill me. I am waiting for God’s time and it should no longer be late.”
Those where the words of Pa Emmanuel Ashipa, a 143 year-old-man, while rejecting the prayer of a clergyman for him to spend more 'fruitful' years on earth.
Indeed the Baba has really tried and he has enjoyed God's faithfulness. But let him try and make it to 150 for a round figure. OI
ReplyDeleteLol the Baba is tired of hearing about corruption in Naija
ReplyDeleteLet the will of God happen though we still wish him more years ahead. FRANK
ReplyDeleteMany atimes people will just be quoting date of birth of their aged parant in other to make it seem as their linage are living long. This man they are quoting that age to, how sure are his children partaining the age. One thing i know is that as of that date birth given that man, Africans have not been taken record of events. It is on record that people that were born last centure ago in African does not know their age, how come this one almost 150 yrs ago when the white men have not set their foot inside our territary.
ReplyDeleteI supported him for that rejection
