"In the 2011 budget, for example, the cost of maintaining the Nigerian Presidential Air Fleet was N18 billion, while the budget for the entire aviation industry was N20 billion. Is it surprising, therefore, that very little attention is paid to regulations in the aviation industry?" - Murder Incorporated By Chido Onumah
Olufamous.com wonders if Nigerians too need to set up a “committee” before they would understand that the current crop of leaders in this country cannot not bring prosperity to the masses?
Over 150 million Nigerians were serviced with N20 billion, yet our servants in the Presidency were serviced with N18 billion. Hmmm... very interesting country!
Nigeria sure need a true leader and leaders at all levels of governance who "give a damn" about the welfare of their fellow citizens, far above personal comfort. Anything to the contrary is a disaster.

ReplyDeleteUnmmmmmmmmh, we only need to knw & believe that what the almighty presidency is trying to tell the poor electorates is that dere life is more precious than dat of the ordinary masses. Our self imposed leaders are greedy, self centred, selfish, wicked & unfocused. Only God can help us out.
ReplyDeleteIts been like this since our indepedence. No government has interest of the masses. Its all they can loot by d so called leader. Please folk, don't be sentiment about who's the President and where's from. They are all hopeless crook/thiefs.They are only looking out to enrich themselves, their families and friends.Only God that will save our country from this nonsense.
ReplyDeleteJonathan coming from Niger delta suppose to be a different leader. At least fight for everyone's right because of his region but he is a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteWe have crooks as leaders. The corruption rate in Nigeria is astronomical.
