Kenneth, a graduate of Economics of the Ambrose Alli University, was...
among five suspected kidnappers paraded by the SSS on Thursday in Benin, the state capital.
Others paraded were Oboh Ikhuoria, a Banking and Finance graduate of AAU, Jimoh Edobor, Isioma Jato and Amos Peters. According to the Edo State Director of the SSS, Bello Bakori, two other members of Kenneth’s gang are already serving different jail terms.
Some of the suspects however denied involvement in the crime, claiming they were only invited to assist in collecting ransoms or rescuing kidnapped victims.
On his part, Kenneth claimed that a friend only invited him to help in pushing the vehicle that was, unfortunately, used in transporting a kidnapped victim.
All the suspects will be charged to court soon.
