Reverend Chris Dariya, the Secretary of the ECWA Church that was attacked by Boko Haram suicide bomber on Sunday in Zaria has revealed some very troubling information.
The man of God disclosed that they (ECWA Church executives) got information few days before the deadly attack that members of the Boko Haram sect had met in Zaria to finalise plans to strike churches in the area on Sunday.
According to him, Chairmen and Secretaries of CAN in Kaduna were immediately invited for a meeting on the issue. But to his surprise, on Saturday, the military personnel that were drafted to maintain peace around the church were withdrawn by "order" from above.
Below are what Reverend Dariya said when Kaduna State Governor, Patrick Yakowa, visit ECWA church premises in Wusasa, Zaria:
"We were cautioned on the fact that Boko Haram were already in Zaria. We heard vividly there was a meeting on Friday and the Chairmen and secretaries of CAN Zone 1 were actually invited for a meeting and that Boko Haram were already in Zaria and that they were going to strike Sunday. Some of us were very concerned and thinking of what possible thing to do to avert such happenings.
"I came back on Sunday from a meeting and drove into my office which is just behind (the church), that is the District Office. There were soldiers that were actually patrolling and guarding the area, I saw them packing their things and I drove there and ask two of them that we had this report which I am sure you had. You are packing your things and it does not speak well for the community and for me as a religious leader."
" I was told that the community was disturbing them, and that is why they have to move. I told them it was not the community that kept you here but it was the government. But they told me there were orders but I don't know where the orders came from."
Nigerians (Christians) please draw your own conclusions and tell me if govt has no hand in this issue at all. At the very best they were criminally negligent and at the very worse they were complicit.

I really believe top members of this government have hands in these nonsense going on in the name of Boko Haram, they will be exposed soon.
ReplyDeleteToo bad if government personnel are involved it BH
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Goodluck Jonathan said there is Boko Haram in his government but unfortunately he couldn't do anything about it. We are heading for wahala!
ReplyDeletehow come there was no boko haram when Babangida, Abacha, Abdulsalami, Yaradua and the other hausa muslims were in power? IBB should be questioned and then locked up for life, cos he's the master bomber
ReplyDeleteI agreed with you.
DeleteWith sentimental people lyk u,Nig can never move forward.this is a revealation by a man of god& u're too of a shallow minded person.who cares whether they are muslims or christains?all we're saying is gov are responsible for d lives of innocent naijas.y didn't u ask y there was no BH durin obj's tym,gowon,e.ty.c?
Deleteboko haram is a demon created by muslim politicians. How come there was no boko haram when babangida, abacha, abdulsalami and yaradua were presidents?
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I AM MONITORING THE SITUATION IN NIGERIA, VERY SOON I WILL MOVE TO TOGO, AS A CHRISTIAN MY LIVE IS NO LONGER SAVE IN THIS COUNTRY,MY PRESIDENT IS IN BRAZIL, THE ARMY HAVE JOIN BOKO HARAM, THIS IS JOEL ATTAH FRIDAY SPEAKING
ReplyDeleteI want to say that Christians should defend themselves from further attacks. All those supporting Boko.... whatever, the end of their lifes as come.
ReplyDeleteIf the words from the man of God are to go by my understanding, then it should be thoroughly investigated, who gives the orders for the security personnel to leave their duty posts at the most crucial times? Who has absolute control over military? Of course we know that one to be Federal Government and what measures did the pastor took, proactively, to avert the foreseen danger that loomed ahead, at that material time? Of course with all the information he divulged, he would have done something, even if it were to suspend the service, as to avoid the lost of lives.
ReplyDeleteIt has now come to open. Christens in Bauchi had for-knowledge of the attack before it happened, so also in Zaria. El-Rufai said it. Christens! Check.
ReplyDeleteWhat stops the man of God from calling off the service when the Military left? He could have saved the lives of his followers and can he provide the names of the men who left on orders from above? We beg him to please provide it to CAN headquaters to forward it to the Army Chiefs (all Christians) to investigate and punish those who gave order from above.
ReplyDeleteIf this is not done, the man of God has a case to answer to humanity and God!!!
Evils dat men do lives with them.
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ said, "The thief (devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly".
ReplyDeleteJohn 10:10 (KJV)
I know of a sure that these guys who call themselves boko harams are demonic and highly satanic. Hence their activities of destruction of human lives which they have not been known to be involved in building and they are opposed to they that build and sustain lives. ECWA church has a long history of building lives particularly in the north and the families of boko harams are enormous beneficiaries and yet since they are demonic, not even the long years of goodness of ECWA in the north is sufficient to appeal to them. So what can we say therefore? Is it the ineptitude of the government in failing to protect the innocent citizens or the wickedness of the boko harams on the innocent citizens that we should be concerned about? Well, it appears we are between the devil and the deep blue sea. But head or tell: government people or the bokos, they are all within us. So we should do soul searching among us as these people are not foreigners but people living among us and even if they are foreigners they have certainly lived well long enough to know us right into our bedrooms. Let us look well enough and be truthful to ourselves and we will certainly find who the killers and the traitors are. They are not spirits but humans like us and people know them well enough to know when they are going to strike.
the pastor could have simply called off the sunday service to save the lifes of his church member, but no he cant because the sunday tithe and offering is more important to him than the life of his church member
ReplyDeleteLet Boko Haram go and bomb the Aso Rock and leave the innocent people alone.
ReplyDeleteIt's time for us to wake up from our slunber,if d president can ran 2 Brazil bcz of Boko Haram then wat are we wating for? He neva ran away bcz of d ordinary BH dat is bombin churches but d real 1 in Aso Rock,i tink d options we hav now is either to send d Govt away or we divid d nation.
ReplyDelete1. How did the clergies got their first information about the arrival of BH in Zaria b4 the security operatives?
ReplyDelete2. Have they inform the JTF on the information available to them before their meeting?
3. What is the outcome of their emergency CAN meeting on the issue?
4. After the soldier evacuated the area, what line of action has the clergyman adopts?
With all these at the disposal of CAN Chairmen and Secretaries I think there is a big skeleton hidden in their cupboard. Chikwam!!!
It is very very unfortunate that those people who send the blind folded hausa moslems to go and bomb has there own children in most of notable universities around the whole world. My heart bleeds that they really know they are formenting trouble and killings all over the churches and we nigerians knows them. Its unfortunate that moslems have been brain washed from abnitio on their believe cum killings and all worth nots.well its very painful that these people doing this does not no what they are doing because if most of them will understands that the people sending them drives in luxury cars and enjoy life to the fullest i do not think they will agree further to such killings and maiming.Above all Jonathan is a bastard i wish her only daughter death like he has been wishing to other people.
