So the level of poverty in Northern Nigeria is so excruciating that able-bodied young men can be brainwashed into embarking on "a journey of no return" with a paltry sum - N7,000? Yet some of the richest men in Nigeria and one of the richest in Africa are from the same North?
Sorry Nigeria; mediocrity, corruption and gluttonous greed are having a field day in the land!

Olufamous.com gathered that the recent attack on EYN Church in Biu, Borno State, was carried out by ordinary folks who are struggling for daily survival, meaning they are not necessarily core members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
One of the suspects in JTF custody, Ibrahim Mohammed Babangida, who spoke with journalists disclosed that one Magaji Bala paid him N7,500 as engagement fee to join 6 others in attacking the church during a Sunday service, which lead to the death of worshippers, including a woman.
“I was sleeping in my house when Magaji called me and handed over N7,000 to me for the operation,” he said, even as one of the suspects also corroborated the claim.
The suspects are: Alhassan Inuwa, Ibrahim Mohammed Babangida, Magaji Bala, Nuhu Zakari, Dahiru Sa’adu, Mohammadu Nurah and Mohammed Sani.
