“Particularly today, I was quite thrilled about what was going on in the church and when I got the information that while we were here, there were explosions in Kaduna and since I don’t even know the casualty rate and what is happening; I have been quite sad and I didn’t even want to say something.
"But when the priest orders you, you must say something," a visibly gloomy President Goodluck Jonathan said at a Special Service to commemorate the 2012 Fathers Day in Abuja on Sunday. He added that he had consolation in God who is capable of handling every situation.
He however used the opportunity to solicit the support and prayers of Nigerians for the peace of the nation and for the success of his administration.

Am really ashamed of this set up... it's only in Nigeria u see a president lamenting rather than take action onbehalf of the people as enshrined in the constitution. SMH!

Why is Mr. President sad please? That people are being killed under his roof? Or that he is incapacitated to do something serious to combat it? That he is sad to me is an understatement and a political gimmick... He should combat this menace and restore confidence into the hearts of Nigerians he was SELECTED to rule.
ReplyDeleteNa sadness go bring the dead back or prevent further attacks, i beg, Uncle J do something and stop sleeping like uncle jonah of the bible. Fire dey burn down the house, person dey tell us in sad... who go sad pass? victims or observers!

ReplyDeleteIf God and Satan are sad you should have been sad. You pretend to be sad. You are not sad.
It is now proved that you cannot continue in office. A northern president is better. Southern president is incompetent.
