There was serious pandemonium on Thursday at an Upper Sharia Court in Funtua town, Katsina State as an estranged husband, Ahmed Ubale Mai-Nama went mad and set the court ablaze for daring to dissolve his marriage against his wish.
Sources told Olufamous.com that the man was so angry that he stood watching as the entire court building was consumed by fire.
However, Ahmed was latter overpowered by those in the vicinity, including the court's guards and handed over to the police. It was gathered that he's being interrogated at the Funtua police station.
According to the story, Ahmed had filed a case before the court seeking to safeguard his marriage, but he lost out as the marriage was dissolved based on the evidence made available to the court his his (ex)wife.
