Different worlds: Mario Balotelli's mum Rose Barwuah earns just £6 an hour. But he (Balotelli) earns £120,000 a week, likes to drink vintage champagne straight from the bottle and once famously put hundreds of pounds on to a church collection plate.
But Mario Balotelli's generosity doesn't appear to extend to his mother, who works as a cleaner in an office only a few miles from her son's £3million mansion.
While the Manchester City footballer glides around in his gleaming £120,000 Bentley Continental GT, Rose Barwuah has a more humble mode of transport - the number 11 bus. Five times a week, she catches the bus to start her job as a cleaner at a car lease firm on the outskirts of Cheadle, near Manchester, earning little more than the minimum wage of £6.08 an hour.
Home for her is a council home in Wythenshawe, the area used to film Shameless, the Channel 4 comedy about feckless families living on benefits.

She and her husband, Thomas, who hails from Ghana, were advised to give him up when he was just 2 because he had a life-threatening intestinal condition made worse by their cramped living quarters.

Poverty takes the first blame here bcos she wouldnt have given him up in the first place if not for poverty. He should try and do something for his mum thou....
ReplyDeleteI don't mean any harm to womanhood BUT to me, she need to work harder to built back the relationship she gave away when he was just a hopeless and helpless 2 year old, she dropped him when he needed him most so, nemesis is here, she must work even harder to get him back.... I have a feeling Mario will take her back BUT just wanna show her how tight you should always stay by your child(ren) at any condition, if he has died, she will never remind him, afterall she got something back on him when she gave him away.

She gave him up for adoption when he was deadly sick. Another report even said his parents abandoned him in the hospital where an italian family took pity on him and adopted him. Bottomline is, another family took him in, raised him and made something out of him, suddenly the mother wants to be a part of his life. Where was she b4 he became famous and rich?

Thats why its good to think b4 u make decisions. U have to be sure u can live with d consequences of d decisions u make in life. she gave her son up 4 adoption becos she could'nt take care of him. Wen she did dat she gave up her rights to be his mother. D boy does'nt even bear his parents' name. He bears his adopted parents' name. If my parents gave me up 4 adoption, and den want me back after I became rich n famous, I wil definitely be hesitant.
ReplyDeleteThe fact of the matter is that a child who was given away for adoption at two definitely has no relationship with her natural Mum who has had no contribution to his upbringing whatsoever. He is only 21 and at d moment he is busy enjoying his fame. At this age,the sight of his poor mum might even be irritating to him.

a child will rather stay with their parents no matter how poor, so when a child feels abandoned it damages their pyschic....maybe that is why ha act out... so the mother should give him a lot of love without expecting anything
