The level of greed among Nigerian ladies in recent times seems to be getting out of hand. Over the years, Olufamous.com observed that criminal minded women have grown from just being secret prostitutes to road-side hustlers, to working with armed robbery gangs and leading robbery operations.
However, it appeared trafficking in hard drugs is where the 'fastest' money is and many are getting their fingers burnt in a bid to get rich quick through this means.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested three suspected female drug traffickers while smuggling 4.500kg of narcotics in under wears and hair wigs. All three suspects were caught over the weekend at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Two of the suspects who were to board an Egypt airline flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through Cairo were caught with 3.6kg of methamphetamines neatly hidden in customised under wears and hair wigs. Another female suspect who said she's three months pregnant was found to have ingested an alarming 900 grammes of cocaine.
NDLEA Commander at the Abuja Airport, Mr. Hamisu Lawan gave the names of the suspects as Ms Anene Blessing Iruoma, age 26, Ms Obiakor Maryann Okwudili, age 34 and Ms Mbechi Obiageli Susan, age 38.
According to Mr Hamisu,“Anene Blessing Iruoma and Ms Obiakor Maryann Okwudili concealed 1.7kg and 1.90kg of methamphetamine in under wears and hair wigs while Mbechi Obiageli Susan ingested 900 grammes of substance that tested positive for cocaine... The suspects are helping narcotic officials in our investigation. I commend the level of cooperation among security Agencies at the airport. I also thank the management of the Federal Airport Authority for their significant role in these arrests”.
Olufamous.com gathered that the three ladies may spend 15 years in prison upon conviction.

Clara, it is clear who is mad here because by their utterances ye shall know them. I wonder how some Nigerians reason, that some people steal money should not be a criterion for someone to peddle drugs. The people involved should thank their stars because if they had made it to Malaysia and they were caught, it is INSTANT death. A lot of Nigerians have been executed here.

All your stories are about women and the bad things they do, sex, divorce, nudity, etc. Why don't you talk about men? where was her husband when she was ingesting the cocaine? She is probably looking for money to take care of her home and send her kids to school. If her husband did his duty as a husband will she try to carry cocaine? Nigerians generally are greedy and carry drugs its not women alone, in fact its mostly men (95%)that do it. Do not judge women generally based on what these stupid 5% have done. I am not saying what she did is right but don't tag "Nigerian women" to it. There are a lot of decent women in Nigeria, how are we even sure of these stories you publish are true. ....... It does not matter if a drug runner is a man or woman, drug trafficking is bad. Would u like ur sister,aunty or ur female realation carry drugs? If d ans is no,then it does not matter who gets caught and publicise,d message is just Simple: Say NO to drugs wether it is for personal use or for commercial purposes! D mandatory sentence for drup couriers is 15yrs. Now,Would u like ur loved ones to waste 15yrs of her life in Prison? If NO,then u shld help spread d news dat trying to make money pushing drugs could cost u ur life or deprive u of ur freedom for a very longtime!
