Sources say bombs and explosives were freely used in the premises of the Damaturu prison where security intelligence confirmed that some Boko Haram agents are being held temporarily.
It has been very difficult for those on ground in Damaturu to take pictures and provide more details because of the curfew in the area and also the prison is said to the close to the Emir's Palace on Gashua road and anyone caught there may have his/her to blame.
Olufamous.com gathered that Boko Haram agents arrested in the area are kept at the Damaturu prison for a short period before they are eventually transferred to Abuja, to join their counterparts who are scattered in different detention facilities.
However, reports have it that about three persons lost their lives in the process while the sect was able to secure the release of about 40 of its members. The Damaturu prison is usually manned by few wardens and they couldn't match the fire power from Boko Haram members.

A clear case of intelligence failure on the party of our security. How come they move with bombs without being detected??

If not, Nigerians will continue to see this Government handling this potential issue with vigorous negligent.
ReplyDeletenonsense. ''The Damaturu

it is unlikely they would be able to match the fire power from Boko Haram members.''
No tight security personnel in such a place where such persons are kept. Whom are we deceiving? These leaders are only deceiving themselves. Nonsense.
Comrade David O.
Do you want me to blame boko haram or judge them no no...if I av my way I'll free them all also though am not a muslim....boko haram is the fruit of the Hard labour that our leaders has engage in path of corruption without maturity....as if Nigeria is the only country that is experience oil boom...wen fool are elders, spiritual leaders, political leader and monarch...why should lament the output???
ReplyDeleteWhen the security caught them why did they put them in prison?are there innocent boko haram among them?where they not the once killing innocent citizens?so why puting them in prison where they will go & influnence other prisoners to join them when ever they excape like this, instead of hanging them behind a drum & boombard & slughter them bcos when they are running short of members you see them braking jail to recrut more members thereby the terrorist problem will be difficult to tackle. The intelligent muslem have realiase that ordinary pitty 7000 will not make them 2 kill themselves in the name of killing 4 their gods.
