Such is the scenario Olufamous.com gathered has happened in the home of Nigeria's popular 'big grammar' pastor, Chris Okotie.
The mood at his Household of God Church in Oregun, Lagos turned bleak during Sunday service when the man of God announced to his congregation that his marriage to Stephanie, his second wife, has parked up because things can no longer work.
Here is how Pastor Okotie dropped the bombshell:
“Stephanie and I are no longer married. We have separated. You can see she’s not in church today. It’s due to irreconcilable differences and you should please respect our wishes at this time because there is no going back.”
May God guide His children, and help us overcome the 'challenges' in marriage!

I say a big Amen to that prayer because divorce is becoming a BIG issue in our society. Nobody is spared...

ReplyDelete@Kalu,your silence is Golden only if your opinion is not well expressed.I have followed closely your previous comments to issues and the backlash from co commentators.Don't mind them be free to express your opinions no matter whose ox is gored. It is not a must for your views to concur with others, after all we are not of same psychological, moral, mental and emotional make up.Your views being at variance with others simply stands you out a shoulder amongst your peers.BJ Ibrahim.

ReplyDeleteShe kissed with her eyes open, she did not truly love him. He did all the loving. Men should marry those that love them equally
ReplyDeleteI share u view d kiss tells it all, but do u blame her, dis days men dnt appreciate who loves dem. D see d person as being desperate, d prefer those who dnt even have their time

DeleteHe married his friends wife who was shot to death! Did he expect to be happy? I pitty d single ladies in dat church, cos he is going to taste them for salt, using marriage as a pretext!
ReplyDeleteI did not know that he had children. I thought he had one child without DNA evidence.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrongly got is soonest lost. If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The two of them have different motives for entering in to the marriage. One was looking for a sex partner after the first failed courtship, the other, out of greed, avarice and "long throat" was looking for fame, wealth & "name".My people died 4 lack of knowledge. Pastors, pls let's wake up. Satan is no longer after the "congregation", but "we". God is keenly watching us. Pastor Bhadmos.
